Office Operations

Merging, splitting, dissecting and rotating digital documents.

Course Overview

You can’t staple or rip a digital document so, in this course, I’ll show you how to carry out various ‘operations’ in your paperless office. These include:

  • Rotating individual or multiple pages;
  • Splitting large documents into smaller sections;
  • Extracting individual or multiple pages from documents;
  • Merging two or more documents together;
  • Creating a PDF booklet (and adding page numbers, a table of contents, and a bookmark tree 😀).

I’ll show you what software to use, how to get a free copy of the software, and how to use all of its functions.

This course also covers some practical aspects of office operations, including:

  • A look at the tools and tasks that are made redundant by going paperless;
  • How to build legal briefs (for yourself or for others) from digital documents;
  • Sending and receiving digital briefs and multimedia files.

By the end of this course you will be well able to conduct essential ‘operations’ on your digital documents, you’ll have the software to do it, and you’ll know precisely how the software works.
